2006-2007 FVC Robot - Unnamed
Tasks:
Picks up and scores up to 3 softballs at a time in the 24" goals for the FVC 2006-2007 game, Hangin-A-Round.
Features:
- Built from standard Vex Kit parts
- Six motor drive train, 10 wheel drive (end wheels raised)
- 4-bar linkage for arm, powered by 2 motors.
- Intake roller "claw" designed to easily pick up 3 softballs quickly
Autonomous:
In the Arizona Regional, the first iteration of this robot consistantly performed well in the autonomous mode by simply raising the arm and scoring from the back of our previous manipulator. In Atlanta, the robot was able to drive to the opposite side of the field, turn, and knock the Atlas Ball onto our side of the field for a 2x score multiplier.
