News - Six weeks of no return!

Well ladies and gentlemen its official. Build season has begun! This years game Breakaway! Robots must be able to cooperate, climb over 1' high hurdles, lifting itself into the air off of a 7' high tower, and kick soccer balls into goal stations. Also this year we have been provided with a laptop which will be used during the game to stream live feed from the robot to the drivers. The N.E.R.D.S. will be constructing this years robot at I.E.W.T.D. For the next six weeks we will be prototyping and refining a 120lb robot for the competition. So if you don't see as many N.E.R.D.S. out there for the next few months, its because we're busy working away on the new robot.
